Around twenty-five thousand homes in south-east Queensland were left without power on Monday's dawn after intense storm systems impacted the region, bringing wind gusts hitting 109 kilometers per hour.
Substantial Ice Stones and Extensive Damage
Locals witnessed giant hailstones reaching sizes of seven centimeters in particular locations. The Bureau of Meteorology verified that different parts across the state had been impacted by substantial ice precipitation.

Humid circumstances were predicted to continue along large portions of the state's eastern regions this coming days as a weather pattern continued to pull in damp air against the shoreline.
Tomorrow was predicted as the wettest day, with persistent severe weather risk expected across multiple regions of both regions.

Medical authorities alerted that there was an higher risk of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the state's northern country region, especially given the current weather patterns.
